Volunteer certification websites and registration process
COACHES REGISTRATION:
ALL Coaches must be registered either through Hillsborough County Parks and Recreation (see below Link) or The National Alliance for Youth Sports (NAYS) in order to coach and/or volunteer as a part of the EBBucs Organization.
Credentials are verified by the EBBucs Board of Directors and Hillsborough County Officials.
All coaches must be wear their coaching credentials at all times during ALL practices and ALL games.
ALL Coaches must undergo a background check prior to being able to participate during practices and games.

County Volunteer Training
The Athletics Youth Sports Section provides the mandatory training required for all volunteers and coaches. From Hillsborough County's 58 partnered programs to the user-groups renting fields and facilities, requirements for volunteers are the same across the board. These certifications are free and good for 2 years from the date issued.

Concussion in Sports
The NFHS has teamed up with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to educate coaches, officials, parents and students on the importance of proper concussion recognition and management in high school sports. This course highlights the impact of sports-related concussion on athletes, teaches how to recognize a suspected concussion, and provides protocols to manage a suspected concussion with steps to help players return to play safely after a concussion.

Heat Illness Prevention Training
Exertional Heat Stroke is the leading cause of preventable death in high school athletics. To help you minimize the risk of heat illness at your school, this course has designed to provide the fundamentals of a strong heat acclimatization plan and guidelines for limiting activities to account for changing environmental conditions and other contributing risk factors. It highlights the importance of an appropriate hydration plan and establishing an Emergency Action Plan in case of a suspected exertional heat stroke.
